Another short post today. I’m exhausted. Is it December already??? November might do me in.
When we bought this house we spent a lot of our money renovating it–a lot more money than we expected. It will take us a long time to furnish/decorate it properly so in the meantime, we live in an echo-y, cavern-y house. It’s not too bad on the top floor and basement but the main floor is pretty empty. My brother, G., always likes to comment on the scarcity of furniture–he’s a sensitive fellow.
Anyways, today we had our drapes finally installed! It has made quite a big difference. I’m still not sure if I actually like them but I’m happy we have some privacy. Our front living room has large windows that have been uncovered this whole time. You feel a little on display in the evenings.
So, I’m feeling thankful that we were able to chip away at our “to buy” list and get these drapes. Drapes down, many more future purchases to go…
